Why astrology?
Astrology, as a system and interpretive tool, is rich with insights that are helpful for those experiencing challenges or transitions in their lives and seeking guidance and support. I can offer insights and advice to help you navigate difficult situations and make more informed decisions. Astrology tends to resonate with people on a soul level and is more specific than any self-help book.
What is your personal approach to astrology?
I am a natal astrologer using the Western tropical zodiac. For house systems, I use both Whole Signs and Placidus. My practice incorporates both traditional and modern astrological techniques.
I interpret your charts and transits within Black popular culture, music, film, television, poetry, and Black feminist and womanist liberation theological frameworks. I offer translation of symbols and contextualize them with the reality of your life in the spirit of plain-speaking Black women poets.
Can you predict the future?
My goal is to give a sense of the “astrological weather” using predictive techniques. I give you a feel of the different potential timelines and describe the climate of these timelines, but they are activated by your choices, willingness, and courage to face things outside your control. Many forces can trigger new timelines, some within our control and others beyond.
How do I know if you are the right astrologer for me?
The most important voice to listen to is your own. Above all, you must trust what you feel and know to be true. With that in mind, the core values of my practice are legibility, compassion, and affirmation.
Most people who come to me aren’t looking for new information about themselves. They are looking for permission to excavate what they’ve buried. So often, people come to the divination looking for answers they already know but want external confirmation.

WORKING WITH SPIRIT
Are you psychic? How do you communicate with my ancestors?
No, I am not a psychic or medium. I am a practiced channel and conduit. With your consent, I engage your ancestors as a collective and only work with elevated and benevolent spirits. For astrological services, my communication extends to the services I provide. I ask your ancestral guides to ensure that what we explore in your session is in service of your best and highest good.
What do you mean by energy work?
I use subtle energy healing techniques as a complementary approach to astrology. Energy work honors the interconnectedness of the body, mind, and spirit and is an essential part of creating space for my clients to align with the seasons of their life. My guided energy work sessions allow clients to work with various energy modalities in a supervised capacity.
Energy work is a broad term that refers to various practices that involve working with the body's subtle energies to promote healing, balance, and well-being. It is rooted in the idea that the human body is composed of different energy centers/ chakras and layers that interact with one another and can be influenced through various techniques.
Energy work can take many forms, including Reiki, acupuncture, acupressure, breathwork, meditation, and yoga. These practices are designed to aid in releasing blockages and promote energy flow throughout the body, which supports physical, emotional, and spiritual health.
What do you mean by ceremony?
In my practice, I use ceremonies to connect with my highest self, seek guidance or support from elevated spiritual or ancestral beings, cleanse and purify the body and mind, and express gratitude, forgiveness, pleasure, or love.
These formal and personalized collections of rituals and prayer aid in remembering one's own sense of purpose. They are essential to marking important events and transitions, honoring the dead, and connecting with the deeper aspects of life and the universe.
What are the Akashic Records*?
The Akashic Records contain an infinite and ever-expanding library of information about past, present, and possible future events and knowledge about the nature of the soul, the universe, and the Divine. Topics explored in the Akashic Records are virtually limitless. Some examples of topics that can be explored in the Akashic Records:
Past lives: explore past lives and how they may influence a person's current life experience.
Soul purpose: gain insight into a person's soul purpose, including their talents, gifts, and mission in this lifetime.
Relationships: reveal information about a person's relationships, including past-life connections and karmic contracts.
Health and well-being: provide insights into the root causes of physical, emotional, and spiritual imbalances and offer guidance on achieving greater health and well-being.
Career and life path: gain clarity and direction regarding career choices.
Spirit guides and angels: reveal information about a person's spirit guides, angels, and other supportive energies working with them.
Abundance: offer guidance on manifesting abundance and prosperity in all areas of life.

THE SERVICE
What information do you need?
To generate your birth chart, I need your exact date of birth, place of birth, and time of birth. For your solar return chart, I will also need your current location.
I don’t have my exact birth time. Can I still invest in an astrology reading?
Yes! There are many reasons why people don’t have their exact birth time, including being an adoptee, not having access to their birth records, or the time not being listed on their birth certificate.
We can still explore major aspects which have a wealth of valuable information without your exact time of birth. However, major points on your chart AC, IC, MC, DC, houses, and sometimes moon signs are only possible to determine with the exact birth time.
Chart Rectification services can determine your birth time through different mathematical techniques that track major events and timing in your life to “rectify” your time of birth. Unfortunately, this is not a service I offer at this time.
When and how often should I book a session?
Most of my clients’ book readings two to three times a year, typically around their birthday, the new calendar year, or at the start of spring (the new astrological new year. Other clients book sessions at the start of each quarter four times a year. Some once a year.
The frequency of astrology sessions depends on the individual's needs and preferences. Some people may benefit from regular astrology sessions, while others may only need occasional check-ins.
If you are new to astrology or seeking guidance for a specific issue, scheduling an initial consultation to gain insight and clarity may be helpful. From there, you can decide whether to schedule follow-up sessions as needed or on a regular basis.
For those interested in using astrology as a tool for self-discovery and personal growth, regular sessions can help track your progress and identify patterns over time. In this case, scheduling sessions every few months or on a seasonal basis may be beneficial.

How do I prepare for a session?
There’s nothing for you to do but show up. Come ready, curious, willing, and open. If it aligns, say a prayer that you receive the wisdom and insights that are available to you in this session. Call forth breakthroughs and blessings that chart an aligned path for you. Pray to remember your gifts and to see clear evidence of things working out in your favor.
I want to purchase a reading for a loved one. How does that work?
Gifting a session can be a wonderful gift for a sister-friend, cousin or aunt about to enter into a brand new phase of life. CANCELLATION, RESCHEDULING & REFUND POLICIES
How do I reschedule my appointment?
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, you can do in your confirmation email by selecting “Change/ Cancel Appointment” at least 24 hours in advance to reschedule.
What is your confidentiality policy?
What we discuss in your session will stay between you and me. I value your privacy. You, however, are welcome to share as much or as little of our reading with others. I do occasionally discuss clients as an aggregate of aspects, placements, and transits to demonstrate trends.
Can I get a recording of the session?
Yes! A recording of your session is included in your investment. You have 7 days to download the audio recording of your session from the link provided.
How can I make the investment? Can I pay monthly?
I accept all major credit cards, which can be made through the scheduler after selecting your session. Payments are made before a session to confirm your appointment. Monthly installments plans are available for all services.
Alternatively, if a credit card is not a feasible option, I do accept Venmo (LoveStephGee) and Cash App ($LoveStephGee).
How can I invest in a package?
You can purchase packages for all offerings. Astrology, Astrology & Energy Work and Soul & Ceremony are all available for purchase as one lump sum or in monthly installments as 2-session or 4-session packages. To invest, please feel free to email hello@lovestephgee.com for the link.
Do you offer refunds?
No. ALL SALES ARE FINAL. In the rare circumstance that a refund is approved, the client will be responsible for any fees associated with processing the initial purchase and repayment.
